From person to person, lawmaker to lawmaker, business to business—proponents and opponents continue to weigh-in. But…conflicting public-support within the same organization? As in—as is the case between Facebook and Facebook-owned Instagram.

Many medical marijuana providers and patients alike, in their quest to promote, advertise and inform the masses have, recently, been rudely awaken with having their green-levied Instagram accounts completely deleted off the renown network.
No warning. No content review. Only, what about their three-year-running-parent-company, Facebook?— whom acquired the world renown photo-sharing platform to the tune of $1 billion dollars between cash and stock shares in 2012 in its largest acquisition yet.
In contrast, Facebook freely allows its users—both medical marijuana provider and patient alike—to openly and freely post text, photo, videos, you-name-it, about its network while they express their ambitious sentiments on the matter of going green.
Why the conflicting positions on so touchy-a-subject within arguably the same firm?
Along with Facebook’s social media blockbuster purchase of ever-popular photo-cascade, so too did they inherit the Instagram Team right along with it, with a sure-to-be social synergy in mind—the global public being the delightful beneficiary. Close, but apparently not close enough—as you would think the two juggernauts would have hashed out their political differences internally before allowing a rather large, oblivious difference between the two to go public–right underneath their noses.
